Standard on the Speed-Master® 1600 L is a light grid built into the guide tracks up to 8’0" high. Completely free of coil cords, the light grid provides a thorough wall of protection for personnel and equipment at the doorway. Full perimeter draft seals provide dust and odor containment, as well as general environmental control.  The Model 1600 features an aluminum bottom profile with an integral panel reversing edge, along with two thru-beam style panel reversing photocells.  An 8'0" high light grid is optional on the 2600.

The Speed-Master® 1600 L has guide tracks with removable covers.  Heavy duty 12 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel tracks are a two-piece design, and the front covers conveniently open for ease in re-setting the door when required.  Models 2600 and 4500 both have as standard, hinged guide tracks of heavy duty, painted steel as shown at left. The low-profile tracks on all Speed-Master® Models are impact resistant and fit into most applications.

Patented, interlocking aluminum hinges act as integral windbars creating a sectional panel design. Sliding the panels apart without removing the entire door or roll assembly allows for inexpensive replacement, and a full-width vision area provides unobstructed viewing.
